to learn sura 2:256 was a early meccan verses is easy to look up and muslims love to quote this verse. what i would like to know is how is the fact that dozens of other verses abrogated this early peaceful verses and muslims never quote them, aren't all the words of allah to be learned? example after mohammad started robbing caravans,and raiding up to 100 villages and towns in the last 9 years of his life and robbing them of all booty and selling the women and children into slavery allah and mohammad changed; sura 9:29 fight those who do not profess the true faith [islam] until they pay the poll tax with the hand of humility; sura 2:191 kill the unbelievers wherever you find them ;sura 8:65 ''o'' prophet! rouse the believers to fight the unbelievers; sura 8:12 instill terror into the hearts of the unbelievers,'' smite them above their necks, and smite all their finger tips off; sura 8:39 so, fight them till all opposition ends and the only religion is islam; sura 8:7 allah wishes to confirm his words; wipe the infidels out to the last; sura 9:5 when the sacred months for fighting are past, fight and kill the unbelievers wherever you find them, take them hostage, torture them and lie in wait and ambush them using every stratagem of war; they are dozens of suras and hadiths like these but we never see muslims quoting these words of their god,allah. so can someone explain why muslims never mention these words of their god, allah?
